Forum Help?

I have just setup my own forum and Im getting good traffic!
Lots of people are starting to put their own links in their posts
and I was wondering if someone who has managed forums before
could help me? I dont really want them to put their links into my
forum and make money from my traffic but I would like my forum
to grow fast.

Please tell me the best system so I could make money from my forum?

My forum has over 250,000 posts, so I like to think I have some experience. Time is on your site is what you need to think of most. Buying traffic and paying people to post won't help at all. My biggest tip to you is for you to post on your forum a lot. Reply to most posts, gain respect from your members, then they'll start inviting friends. I had 20,000 posts on my site and found that when I stopped posting the forum activity died a little. Each post you make brings 1 reply, and that 1 post brings another reply. So think each post you make you earn 3 posts.

Do you let new members post their affiliate links?
