Calvin Harris made $46 million this year! Like anybody else at the top of their game, he is well paid, but I just had no idea these guys could make that amount of cash!

Yeah, it doesn't even take much qualification either. If you can make a catchy song, and you have an AMAZING marketing team, you've made it.

I was just amazed that these guys, even though at the top of their game, are pulling in more than CEO's, brain surgeons, stockbrokers, etc. $46 MILLION!!! Crazy money. That said, I often listen to this mix while doing SEO-related stuff

DJ's tend to make more than artists believe it or not. Well, in general.

He's more than just a DJ, a regular DJ's job is to simply play a record, he's a music producer with his own original track list. Electronic/Trance/House music is the largest genre in the world, with the right buzz you could make good amounts off of touring, even as a mediocre edm producer/dj playing smaller venues & clubs across the globe.
 
Forget IM.... Sell Drugs there is lot of Money in it too.
 
I think, successful internet marketers make way more than that, right? Because I have seen a lot of media buyer, site flipping etc. experts bank a huge amount of money.
 
There's an awesome documentary coming out about a musician who absolutely hates everything associated with "being a DJ" (music, fans, etc) but decides to take the time to record a Dubsteb, Electronic, whatever the hell it's called album, and ends up touring, and making money as this fictional artist: all the while laughing at the people who love this stuff. It's hilarious. People will be surprised when they find out who it is.

Hey guys, just watched this movie Gone in Sixty Seconds...quit IM and start stealing high end exotic cars from car dealerships and gated communities! :D And you thought I was gonna say sell crack (tisk tisk)
