any recomendations about a good and secure Forex trader, compatible with MetaTrader plataform?

I was look for this one:
Code:
forexmeta.com

but no info about comission pips.

Other big ones are:

Code:
Interbank FX. http://www.interbankfx.com
Alpari Ltd. http://www.alpari-idc.com

Anyone using a REAL (not a demo) account with them?

If you're absolutely new to forex, I would recommend Oanda. I found it very easy to test different strategies with (no hedging, but you can create a subaccount in 15 seconds so it really isn't that big a problem) and YOU control the size of the trade, and the margin ratio.

Ever read an interesting strategy and say, "Man, I'd love to try that, but I'd need $$$$ dollars and I just don't have that kind of equity to risk". Well, with Oanda, you just break the trade down into smaller units so that the pips equal whatever amount you want. I've run tests and had each pip equal $.01 It's allowed me to try all kinds of setups w/o fear of breaking the bank.

Sorry, I don't think it's MT compatible --- been a while since I used MT --- it froze on me all the time, so I gave up on it. One place I'd stay away from is FXCM. I had nothing but trouble with them --- but I don't think they're MT compatible either.

Check the forum over at forexfactory. They have lots of info ova there. I can vouch for the James16 chart thread--- for longer time frames, it hasn't let me down. And with Oanda offering small spreads and good interest on aud/jpy, I've been able to set it and forget it.

thanks for your info.
I didnt know about Oanda, its looks like they use their own plataform.
Can I use EA .ex4 with Oanda plataform?

hey there, well bro when you are talking about 0.01 it means micro forex am i right? if you take that to 0.1 its mini forex and if you that to 1.0 its standard lot, any how about F*X*C*M they just start with MT$ but they are not able to manage that plate forum, even my grand ma can run good services then them. i like interbank for micro and ODL for standard and mini they are doing just fine, may some one like any other broker but i like what i mansion. and the system you said i will try that may be that will be good.
regards

Since you control the margin ratio and the unit#, it's up to you whether you're trading micro/mini/standard. Depending on your balance, your margin ratio and how you place your trade, you can be be trading $.01, $.1, $1, $10 or $100 a pip. It maxes out at 50x so yeah, you'll have to use another service for your more risky trades (200x)

I hate F*X*C*M. Platform freezes/crashes. Ridiculous spread increases (how about 75pips on a minor news announcement?). Stop hunting. You name it, I've seen it. And they have a limited pair selection compared to other brokers. Have they gotten TRY pairs yet? The interest on new lira is nothing to sneeze at.

Onegg...I'm going to say no. But there's nothing to keep you from running MT in another window at the same time. You're probably better off doing it that way since sometimes you luck up and get that half second lead on MT. I've had that happen many times -- MT's quote feed gets a jump on others and there is an advantage for you to use.

thank you stillsmilimg,
for all this information, but did you ever try this w3.wind*sorbrokersltd.c0m. they got too many things on list. you just check that give us you opinion.
regards.

try marketiva. I am doing with it. I open both marketiva and MT4 at same time. To test stratgies in MT4 and apply them in marketiva. It works but you need to sit before computer most of the time.

I use Oanda and it is the best broker I've used by far. I use MT4 for charting, but have to use Oanda's crappy java-based platform for placing trades. However, the execution with them so far has been brilliant, instantaneous as soon as I press submit.
