Hello,

my name is Chris. I've been in this forum for a while right now. But I was just a guest reading my threads about building up blogs, making money and so on. Now I want to start my own thread here. It's about my journey to build up a Forex trading community. Yeah, you might think ... not another Forex website... I personally like Forex trading and there are still some good opportunities to build up a website with that topic.

Something you might know about me: I am an absolute newbie. I am not a SEO crack, I am not an internet marketer, I am not a social networker something like that. I still (:-)) have a full-time job in real life. So I build this website in my free-time. I don't intend to spend hundreds of dollars into marketing. I think, if the website is good, people will share it automatically.

Well good luck! Would be great to see a Forex business come out of a BHW journey.

Ok, what I have done so far:
1. Bought a domain. Yes, there are plenty of domains dealing with forex still available. I bought a premium domain because I want to build up a premium website
2. Bought a web hosting plan. I use siteground. They are not cheap but they have a stable service so far.
3. Bought a logo. Yep, a professional logo is important for brand recognition
4. Bought a premium wordpress theme and modify it

Do I want to make money with my website? Sure! But I have to think about the concept first.
What do Forex traders need? Well, they need good tools :-) Tools to get money. So, of course, I will have to add tools to my website. They need education. Every trader needs education. So I have to add a blog about education. They need transparancy. They don't like to get scammed. So I have to add reviews. Forex trading is not a one-man show anymore. Traders like social connection (social trading). So I need something like a community. Traders like interactive websites. So this website should not be another "affiliate website" with affiliate reviews... traders should be able to review tools by themselves. So the website becomes an honest review site. Anything else?

Ok, let's talk about making money with the website. This is very important. If I invest $1,000 I won't do that just for fun. So if I add tools, I will use affiliate links of course. But if it becomes a community, I should add a premium membership for a small fee. Of course, I think to add a marketplace. In this case, other traders can sell their tools on my website, too. So there should be a business account, too.

OK, that should be the way I could do it. Now I have some free time the next days and I will try to set it all up. It might take some days (and nights :-)) So I be back here often and let you know about the process if you like....

Pleas respect that I don't intend to reveal my true name ...

No one wants to know your name, but being anonymous is different than put a stranger photo and pretend to be someone else.

Just my opinion

EDIT: He Just edited the post where he admitted he owns all these accounts

@ProfessorFalken, thank you for your opinion. I have changed the avatar. I hope you feel comfortable with it now.

@Sephrata: Yes, I have a background in forex trading. I am trading since 2012. But I never become to successful to give up my job :) But I made some money with it from time to time. So I feel that Forex trading is still my niche...

Good luck with your journey!
If you're trading Forex, be carefull, it's not EASY as you think.

Good luck...

@zerkamaz, thank you. Yes, you are absolutely right. I had to pay dearly, too. But in this thread, I won't explain how to trade forex. This is not a journey to make money with forex. In this thread I like to describe how to build up a new forex website with minimal investment. I hope, you wish me luck for this project, too... :-)
