I just started today as well actually! Mostly doing technical analysis and keeping up with the current news seems to do the trick. As others have said many people make a lot of money off of Forex so please do not state that no one is profitable. It is a lot like IM most people don't make anything but around 10% do and are successful. Anyway good luck to all of you trading or learning Forex

RSI indicator and bollinger bands or maximum of the indicators available are time lagging indicators. its good that you are pulling up good number of winners with them but just a question, how big the winners are in terms of pips?
I am seriously in Forex trading (actually my friend is trading for me) but just by what I have seen him doing, and what he has got from him mentor is simple PASR way of trading. P- Price, A- Action, S- Support, R- Resistance. Really nothing beats that way of trading and indicators are basically for cluttering your charts up which should be used for trade confirmation only instead of trading on the signals produced by them.

I started with etoro myself. No Offense, the interface is more like the game board.
Have you tried any MT4/ MT5 platform based brokers?
I'm a professional Forex trader and in total have been for around 9 years now! I now trade managed accounts as well as training people how to trade forex. Forex is just like everything else, it requires time and effort to understand it.
My Forex Training company: http://www.fxtrainingzone.com has been going for a couple of months now and I have been making good progress with the things I have learnt off you people here.
It can be compared to SEO in the way that you have to understand how the tools work before you can put them to good use - which is what I teach people.

some tips:
1. Don't have unrealistic early expectations. You don't become a successful doctor, lawyer or dentist, or any other skilled worker in a matter of weeks or months. It takes experience and continuing education to have success at any challenging endeavor.
2. Don't spend money trading that you cannot afford to lose. That puts a huge psychological burden on you that is virtually impossible to overcome.
3. Sound money management is paramount in trading markets. Use protective buy and sell stops.
