Well i got an idea and some of you may already know this but think global!
You may think that google, Bing and yahoo may top tree search engines in the world but your wrong..
Baidu is one of the largest search engine ( baidu.c o m) and its a china based search engine so Translate your content into Chinese and get it indexed!
You generatre more traffic so it's a win :):thumb:

Well you use Adsense but you can mane this technique one-step further to create a fail-safe way of making money in foreign markets is by including the original English-based content right after the foreign language content on the same page.
Why?
Because sometimes AdSense fails to come up with relevant ads in strictly foreign language pages and up displaying nothing! So i guess the simple reason for this is that there are much less advertisers on foreign languages, so by including English version on the page, Regardless of the actual foreign language content, your angle is now fail proofed.
Search on google for a cheap translater ! :)

Sorry, but it doesn't make sense. Why would you insert english content, you'll end up with advertisement in a different language from the visitor. Or am I missing something? because if that's the case, your CTR will be super low, and revenues too.

And note that adwords has a country selection of the visitor. So i don't see why would english advertiser would target chinese visitor, with anglish keywords.

I don't think you are getting my point..

Well maybe you should explain more the benefits of it then. Because chinese traffic has never been a benefit as far as I know (unless if you know how to market it)

You may try to reach chinese consumers, but unless you have a strong rooted company and government backing you get no where there.

If you can get into China then you need to be marketing beauty/dating offers to singles over 25.

There is a big stigma over there about being left on the heap and it's cast early compared to the west.

I believe that there are more English speakers in China than in the States...

Although that may be true it will dramatically increase your site if you translate your content to all major languages.

For example /en or /cn / fr /it if your site is ecommerce or brandable authority potential.
