Forbes site is infected with malware

Damn, hitting the ecommerce system of Forbes with malware would have to be a pretty lucrative endeavor for some lucky basement-dwelling hacker.

The domain used is from Bulgaria. Maybe that's a victim too. But whoever it is will likely end up in jail.

Its from Bulgaria because you can buy police and not arrested if you have enough money :)

This only when it's done here. This is a foreign country and if it's true they are from Bulgaria, nobody can help them.

Doubt it. They are probably 7 proxies deep, with a hacked RDP on the tailend.

I imagine so as well.

But what does this malware do anyway? Anyone making $ from this?

I always find it crazy when they can get into top sites. Or even those ad fraud dudes who made 8 figures (even though I'm against it).

Hohohoho forbes on suicide watch, they've gone to the shitter, who reads much less buys from them anyways

It steals CC details, so they're certainly making quite a fortune from this attack.

But doesn't a CC reveal your location, video, etc? No use being behind 20 proxies if the cameras catch you.
