What do you use to keep track of where the clients list for their terms in the SERPs? DigitalPoint Keyword Tool?

Right. I get what you're saying. But to monitor overall growth. I know that due to personalized search and etc, not everyone is gonna see the same results, but you don't monitor your clients positions in the listings for specific keywords/phrases at all?

seoquake has a killer FF add-on, and you can bulk upload lists of keywords, check the ranking, and export to CSV file. I use that.

I know that I do monitor them.. but don't use anything specific, just a spread sheet. No matter what though, your client is going to check themselves, and if they don't see the results you're talking about, they they'll be some explaining to do.

And more than that, if you have an outsourcer (I do) doing some of the work and if they are overseas (mine are in India and Phillipines) then what they see will often be different than what you'll in the USA

I do seo for one client but he has over 25 sites... I just use a spreadsheet and a serp checker.

Interesting... Thanks for the recommendations thus far. I'm on a Mac now so I have a feeling that compatible tools will be hard to find, but I'll look into it.

advanced*web*ranking*com works best for me,

tracks over time and across all data centers
