The only one on here that I have tried is getclicky, and I personally don't like it... It doesn't show the same stats as what my actual is... I'm not sure which of these would have free trials, are free, or just cost a lot, but I am also interested in hearing a little more about what you as other website people are using to track your stats.

Thanks

A few are free but just look to see what you like

this was the top fifty from a poll and i was surprised that google was left out.

Whats wrong with google analytics guys...seems pretty okay...

I use a payed account from Statcounter.

Beside the stats, I like that Statcounter gives you a different ID number for every project/website.

Your tracking code appears in your source.
So with an identical code for every site it's easy for Google to link your sites together.

Solution of course would be to open multiple free accounts from whatever tracker.
Downside is that you would have to login for every site you have.

Thanks for the insite and i never said anything is wrong with google it just was not listed.

A combination of analytics and my hosting account always works for me.

IMO as long as you use the same analytics site/program then you can relate your stats to the days/weeks/months before and know its measured the same to know all of the changes. The only way to really go wrong is to mix it up and try to compare stats from one site to your stats on another site.

What, no Piwik?

Piwik is a downloadable, open source (GPL licensed) web analytics software program. It provides you with detailed real time reports on your website visitors: the search engines and keywords they used, the language they speak, your popular pages... and so much more.
