now stick with me here... this is about a story of the US FBI investigating crimes under US law... perhaps I may have gained knowledge during a decade of Federal law enforcement would help me gain knowledge around US laws and application of those laws.
Not to mention any money laundering investigations I assisted with once I moved on to the private side...

Obtaining money and property by means of false and fraudulent pretences, representations and promises - Title 18, United States Code, Section 1344.

It's the exact reason why the Russian group was indicted and charged for creating and using fake/stealth Paypal accounts.

If a Paypal account has been set up fraudulently (i.e. you've used a fake name), then any transactions going through the account will be laundered irrespective of your intentions.

Lol, you give them too much credit. These shitty scammers have no skills in that department. Watch scammer payback etc on YT and you will see the "skill level" these ppl have ;)

I may or may not have used this service some years ago and may or may not have had any issues with the service
