i have been learning photoshop in whole summer, i trust my skills and improved them a lot, but still when it comes to logo i feel like a noob, i'm in gaming niche, this is the logo
logo-hd-small.png
and it's an acronyme of "related 2 gaming", i made a teaser for my youtube channel, and i'll be adding the logo at the beginning and then end of the video, so i wanna make sure that it looks professional, any experts can help me with it ?

I'm not an expert, but I do Photoshop and Illustrator-based work for a few clients on the side.

Anyway, for logos, you actually want to create them in Adobe Illustrator rather than Adobe Photoshop. This way, you'll be able to create vector logos, which are files that can be scaled to any size due to using mathemathical equations to determine points and lines in lieu of pixels.

As for the design itself, I feel like the ".com" part could be placed in a better spot. Maybe you could make more space in the "G" and fit it in there like this:

Edit: save the logo as a PNG and make the blank spaces transparent as well.

You are sure you are not an expert? :D

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm not an expert. There are people out there with a greater understanding of Photoshop that can create real art with the program, so when I think of experts, I think of them. :)

The logo looks good, but maybe you should get rid of the ".com" part, or go for a different styling for it. That's the only thing which really ticks me off, other than that, it looks great to me. Maybe it should be on the side outside of the logo space, I could see that working.

i actually really like your current logo, you can maybe switch the ".com" with a short slogan but it looks fine as it is.

I have recently learned Logo designing and photoshop. I am not expert in this field but know how to work on logo with Illustrator but i can clearly say that you are really a good logo designer too. i really like your design but ".com" does not fit in this design. may be you need to try different design or you can use .com Diagonally.

Thread moved to the Graphic Design section.

I like the logo, but same suggestion that Zwielicht use Illustrator.

Also have in mind that if you ever need to print the logo in a format that can't have shadows (such a silk screen t-shirt, signage...) have in mind that the letters are going to look different without the separations.

Good job!
