For Noobs - Getting Started for $1

per PM requests i'm attaching a screenshot of what the las vegas site looks like (screenshot is the top 75% of the site... the blacked out section is my basic content)

Now I assume you are not worried about having tons of sites with over 3 ads on a page like you are supposed to only have? It looks like you have 4 to me. One top leaderboard, the fake navbar, then the right and left skyscrappers.

EDIT: Wait a minute one of those is a Link Unit. You can now just ignore me

Oh.. The multiplication game. I was thinking of doing this but why limit it to these spammy piece of shit sites...? Really? Will one really make the most money with those long-term?

One can actually make OK content that is interesting enough to actually have visitors like the site somewhat also without spending that much time. Wouldn't it be greater to have 10 actually-worth-visiting sites rather then 50 spammy garbage sites?

I'm a professional graphic designer & web site designer as well so putting out some more quality is maybe just me though. :)

I was thinking the same. I guess the only way to get continued traffic to these sites is to always keep promoting them on blogs, forums, etc like OP said. I think you'll always have to do that to get traffic cuz they will probably never rank high in Google. But then again you can outsource the marketing work, but i'm still not sure it's totally wort it

If the content is garbage then the surfers most likely will click on an add that seems to offer what they are looking for :D

This is almost too good to be true. I'm going to go for about 5 of these sites a day.

If I manage to pull in what people are saying minimum, $1 per site, then this is gravy and I'll even push for throwing up 10 a day if it works out.

But if it actually manages to pull $4 or $5 a day per site, then this is a method that all newbies should be doing or at least trying out!!

Exactly... especially if you use the twist of getting them there by promising something fake...

Like if you post on a forum or CL or whatnot and say "check out www.mysite.com for a $5/night hotel room in vegas" or "you can grab a flight to vegas for only $25 at www.mysite.com". then you got people coming to your site wanting something, but it is not there. but what is there is relevant ads and you know how the ads will look "cheap flights" or "hotel deals" so the chances of them clicking now are greatly increased.

to answer one question, my CTR varies from site to site, for the vegas one it is around 4-5%. that is more then enough to make a nice ROI of 200% or more every day because of the CPC.

don't want to say this but to those adsense's noobs, just be careful. your account will be banned. you may wonder why, right? if u can't draw any search engine traffic but your blogs make much money from adsense, 99.9% probability that you'll be banned. i'm talking based on my xperience. so, don't cry later.

well, good method but I have a doubt rgearding the PPV traffic strategy you suggested? Aren't such tactics disallowed by google? I mean, to drive cheap raffic and get clicks.

you dont need to use ppv, it is just one thing you can do. and if you're getting enough free traffic like i had mention then adding ppv traffic also just adds to that.

or if you're afraid of google's TOS then use yahoo. they are hurting for business.

nam6641, What about you doing about getting traffic from search engines? U have to get traffic from then or your adsense will be banned

I believe what you've done there with the "fake nav bar" goes against the adsense ToS.

Can you also use adWords for traffic for something like this? Or will you get destroyed by google?

That's arbitrage... You'll be banned before you even realize what happened.

Isnt the limit of google ads 3 ad boxes per page ?

I've setup one site already and I am in the process of setting up another. I'm using Blogger as my host so my sites should rank for some obscure keywords to generate a little SE traffic. Currently my first site isn't producing relevant ads so I haven't earned anything yet, though from one forum post I did generate plenty of traffic (around 50 visits).

"-Put a link to a 2nd page (where you will write up some good content, this way if Google checks out your site they will see there is actual content on it) and put a link to a privacy policy page. "

Hi, on this second page, do you put adsense here as well as the first page. Also, for the link on the home page to the 2nd page, should this link be hidden away at the bottom of the page (as we would rather people click the adsense links ;) ?
thx
