I am at the point of desperation. I have Socks5 but can't get them to work
with Firefox browser (I gave up on Internet Explorer). Customer support
takes too long to respond and time is money.

I will pay $5 to the person that can help me find the problem and get these
socks5 working. I have Googled, watched Youtube, and followed instructions
from customer support but nothing seems to work and I only get 1 response
a day from customer support. I am looking for someone that can chat with
me on Skype to get these socks working.

I am trying to use private dedicated socks5.

Your socks5 are probably dead.

Why not you try US private elite HTTP Proxies on your browser ?

then socks must be dead how to test the socks 5
download free tester : http://www.eliteproxyswitcher.com/ and install the tester
where your socks are activated on that system .upload the socks 5 and test them
to see. socks are Alive - green - or not

this socks tester also switching the ips on Firefox i hope so its work for you
if socks are dead than use US Private Elite HTTP Proxies for your browser

I realize that is possible but unlikely. This is the second socks5 provider I have
used in less then a week. First I tried them on Internet Explorer 11 before I
was convinced that socks5 are not easily accepted on IE 11.

This second provider gave me a second set of socks5. That makes 3 sets
of socks5 all together. I think that they work but there is just a problem
with the setup on Firefox. I could always be wrong.

I don't need your money, but here's the easiest way on Firefox. You install 2 add-on's, and you'll be done and good to go. The first is called Elite Proxy Switcher, the second is called The Addon Bar (Restored). That one used to be there be default, but for some reason it was removed, so now you need the add-on. There's screen shots there, but basically it will put this little status bar at the bottom of your screen on Firefox, and you can click it to switch between our regular IP, and the proxy one you want to use. The status bar at the bottom should show up automatically after you install and restart Frefox, but if it's not there, click on View up top, and then Toolbars, and you can select it there and it will then show up. Pay attention to this though, if you're going to use a Socks 5 proxy, leave the HTTP field blank. You might have to enter something for the port, a simple "1" will do. I've seen a LOT of people, myself included, who forget to do that, and then the Socks proxy won't work and you're left wondering why. That could be the problem with your manual config actually, but for now just try that add-on for Firefox. It's extremely easy to use.

Thanks for all advice. The problem has been taken care of. I got a new socks5
provider and these new socks are working flawlessly.

I have a similar problem. what were you using the socks for? Im having the challenge of a lifetime myself.

I could use some help if your familiar with socks and paypal

paypal is more than having good socks, they fingerprint hardware,browser,system fonts etc...

Go with Dedicated Private proxy will work for all almost purpose
