For anyone that is currently or thinking about making a quiz site

I have been making a quiz website for little bit now and here are a couple of tips.

1 - For best results (at least for me that is) keep questions at 10 to no more then 15. This is after several trial and error quizzes on my website. Anything less than that and it hurts your page views/money made from ads etc. Anything more then that and the amount of people that will actually take the quiz and complete it drastically changes. Again this is for me and what it is working.

2 - This goes with number one but having your quiz title be what the quiz is about and then how many questions there are in the quiz DRASTICALLY increases the amount of people that will take the quiz. So if the quiz is about Batman an example would be "Do You Have What It Takes To Match The Quotes To The Right Batman Movie? Find Out by answering these 10 questions!". When people read this title they will be like "hell its only 10 questions why not see what score i can get" or something like that. It took my awhile to realize that a lot more people were takng some quizzes over others and at first i just figured it was because the quiz topic was not popular as others and dont get me wrong that could have a part or rather proabably does have a part to play in it but i am also telling you people having the question amount in the title HELPS A LOT!!!! trust me on this or dont but try it out forself and see.

3 - I am in no way shape or form affiliate with Ari stream quiz found here -https://wordpress.org/plugins/ari-stream-quiz/ - but the premium version of this wordpress quiz plugin is freaking amazing. It has everything you would want in a quiz plugin. I will also say its probably not THE BEST plugin out there buit for the price i have no regrets purchasing it. They also hjave a free version that you can try but the most important in my opinion thing to have in quiz plugins is force facebook share to see results and YOU WILL NOT be able to use that feature with the free version.

4 - Make sure whatever quiz plugin you get that it offers force facebook share to see results, multiple pages for one quiz meaning one question one page, page refresh on page change and allowed to shnow ads. There are a lot of other features you will want but these are the main ones in my opinion.

5 - And lastly on how to spread your website to get users to take your quiz i will skip the ones talked about everywhere like facebook groups but one way to get people to play your quizzes and that isnt talked about a lot is paying CPA networks to have some of your quizzes be an offer. You dont have to pay that much and it is a fantastic way to get crazy amount of people taking your quizzes. Plus since its affortable you will make your money back or at least i do everytime i run a campaign by revenue from ads.

Thanks for the insight, I am running a quiz site for about 2 years now and can also confirm having the # of questions readily available at the start of the quiz decreases the drop off rate.

Having a progress bar with an estimate of time to completion has helped too.

Do you lead capture emails at all? If yes, do you do it before the quiz, just before the results or on the results page?

Thanks for the advice, I've considered doing a quiz site for a number of years even got the domain but I've never gone for it and worked on other projects. Would you say its worth doing a quiz site, when compared with affiliate or content sites?

How do you advertise your Quiz Site? AdSense?

Thanks for the tips! What type of quiz niches will work and what type of quizzes work best? For example tv/movies/sports/entertainment niche is already saturated. I see that personality type quizzes are a rage but building those q&a requires a separate skill. Any source for getting questions in bulk?
