If you are cheap, you can start the trend of buying a domain for your entire family and gift each newborn with a new subdomain.

Fun story, way back when the .nu was launched, i registred a domain like internetaddress.nu but in Swedish (nu means now in Swedish) and sold quite a few subdomains like name.internetaddress.nu to a lot of people that back then did not understand the domain system .. Maybe not my proudest period on Internet back in the 90´s.
