For a wordpress niche site is it better to make pages or posts for articles?

I'm about to make my first niche site hoping to make money from adsense. For my articles is it best to write them as blog posts or shall I make them pages with definied categories accessible from a menu. Or does it really not matter.

pages is for homepage for niche websites

Use posts for articles and pages for other information such as about us, contact us, FAQ - stuff like that.

For the posts, normally it is articles. For pages, it is usually ancillary like About Us etc

For articles, post these into the posts regularly.
