Footprint "tutorial" - where can I find it? Any ideas? :)

I hope, that you don't be angry, if I would write first question here... (I am kinda new here, so I am not sure about the spots yet) Where in BHW (or other place) I can find topic about creating footprints? I mean - not ready, working footprints or pack of lists, but some "tutorial". I know operators like inurl, insite, etc. but can't get it, how to use them properly in long combinations. I was trying to use "search" option, but can't find this kind of subject. Could you help me guys?
