Footer links helps?

Footer links can be helpful when they improve navigation for users. I usually keep them limited to important pages such as contact, services, categories, or key resources.

From my own experience, footer links still provide value. I've been using this approach for years, and it's still working for me. I wouldn't expect huge ranking jumps from footer links alone, but as part of a solid internal linking strategy, they definitely still have their place.

fwiw I have never really seen footer links make a significant difference on their own. They work great on important pages, but I wouldn’t expect a rank boost from just doing that.

Footer links can make it easier for search engines to discover important pages, but by themselves they usually won't improve rankings. I see them as a helpful support for internal linking rather than a direct ranking factor.

Hi everyone,
Do you have any recent experience with whether placing important content links in the footer — in addition to the main menu — helps with rankings on an otherwise average-strength website, or does it have no added value?

Thanks in advance!
Iam not sure if it helps to rank and keyword or website, but it surely helps the users to identify the useful page and search engines can easily crawl.

Footer links may be helpful for users to find important pages but, in my opinion, they do not have that much power to boost the rank. In my opinion, internal links from relevant pages are more effective.
