Why would you want a footer link?
1. Nobody really reads footers but you can rank your guest post and drive traffic to your site.
2. In terms of SEO they carry almost no weight.
Demand drives supply... since there's no demand, nobody offers footer links... simple as that.

Guest posts are preferable to footers because the footer looks spammy and too many RD from the same domain.

Compared to footer backlinks, the impact of guest posts will be higher in SERPs for money site.
Do you say that a Footer link from the same website where you get guest post backlinks will not get you the results in authority and traffic as the guest post does?

Guest posts are more valued than footer links, that's why more people are not into it.

It will get you the results But not effective as Guest Post ( The content will add more value ), when you compare both Guest Post is recommended

1. There is not huge demand.
2. Seems, there are not many sellers and so there is no space/ section for this service here.
3. Pricing is not too high to afford considering the value it offers.
4. Competition - It all depends on you - how do you consider this. Footer links (hack links) might be hidden / visible - how you plan your marketing strategy.

Footer backlinks are out of favor because Google's smarter now and flags them as less valuable, especially when they're not content-relevant. Guest posts, which are safer and more effective post-Penguin update. That's why you're not seeing many footer link providers. It's all about natural, relevant backlinks now.

My suggestion would be, Footer backlink services might be scarce in forums due to potential rule violations, perceived low reputation, and concerns about SEO impact, So better option is Guest post.

It depends on your current SEO strategy.
A back link from the footer could be good to the main page, on anchor brand to boost the whole money site.
Back link from guest post would be good for Exact Match anchor to money site sub page for some important money keywords.
