Football Writer: Where can I get consistent work?

Hello guys...I know there's literally a ton of questions like this on here but mine's pretty specific cause I have a niche I major in which is the football niche.

I've got a wide spectrum of knowledge for clubs in Europe's top five leagues as well as some international ones too.

From basic news to match previews to opinion pieces and betting reviews, I major in all of this but finding jobs in this niche seem to be difficult.

Football websites hardly wanna pay and the ones that do don't pay enough. I used to write for a website just last year where I was getting this guy to top stories column of News Now on a daily basis and saw a massive boost in his page views and Alexa ranking. Still I was massively underpaid for my efforts and so I left.

I've got a couple of football websites myself too but of course monetization is a pain.

I've also joined Upwork where I've made about $200 in three weeks with only three jobs but the writing gifs there are more business inclined than Football related. Not surprising there.

Any one with suggestions on how to get then best out of my Football writing skill? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe some big instagram pages in football niche need that. Try to contact them. Just an idea.
