FollowPlanner Causing Like Blocks

I'd like to advice the community about a recurrent and apparently widespread issue with FollowPlanner causing like blocks. Several users have posted that they are having the problem, in three different threads on the FollowPlanner forums. When the first user posted, FollowPlanner's administrator, Ryan, looked into the poster's account and found the user had been posting spammy comments. Ryan laid blame for the like block entirely on these comments.

But many users posted, in that thread and others, that they were experiencing the same issue. The other users who have posted describe a wide variety of activity schedules. They also describe using both third-party proxies and FollowPlanner's much-promoted private proxies. Ryan has not responded to any of the other posts.

Until the issue is addressed, I would recommend against using FollowPlanner. See below for the original posts.

I wouldn't really go as far as saying this is a wide spread problem with FP. It could any number of reasons, i've been using FP pretty much since it started and its been working pretty well for me.
Some accounts do work better than others and proxies really do make a difference when it comes to blocks. I've recently added 3 more accounts to my FP acct and they've been working fine for the past 2 days without any blocks at all.

I do tend to buy my accts and they're high quality. Proxies are usually ipv4 residential so they're HQ too (not the ones FP offer) i haven't tested them.

Your best option is to add a few accts from different suppliers or create yourself, try different proxies. Its all about trial and error until you find something that works.
 
I disagree with this post. I've been actively using FP for about a year now. I don't see this as a wide spread problem with FP.
I have faced like blocks in the past but it was normally due to one of the following reasons:
1. Account was not warmed up properly
2. Proxy was possibly flagged
3. Account was already flagged

If an account wasn't warmed up properly, I would switch to doing something like Firefox + IP address + manually liking photos until it was able to do 20+ likes/hour then automate it after that. Honestly being too aggressive with your settings in the beginning is an issue with not just FP but any automation tool.

If one of my proxy was flagged, I would either replace the proxy or switch providers. I've seen that there are some providers that have a large number of blacklisted IP addresses which makes it harder to automate even when you replace the IPs. Yes, data center proxies are not great. They do work depending on your settings. If you want better proxies, use 4G or residential proxies. You still need to do the proper warmup on the proxy as well. You also cannot just switch off from a data center proxy or whatever you had before and expect it to work immediately. Give it 24-48 hours in between first or else you will get flagged.

If an account was already flagged, maybe you need to take a break on it or you need to find a different provider for aged accounts. If it's new accounts, go back to my first comment on warming up correctly.
 
I am using FollowPlanner's expensive proxies now. I am posting only once every 1-3 days with very high-quality, niche related content. My hashtags are relevant. My engagement rate is very high. The content I am posting is 90% my own original images. I have the settings pushed to a completely reasonable level in terms of likes. The account is 18 months old, has 250+ posts, and almost 30k very highly targeted followers.

I have been dealing with circular like block issues for over a week now. Even shutting off the likes for a day, as soon as I put them back on at a low setting, I am still getting like blocks. @IGKing I'm not wanting to wait three days for a response via ticket. Please advise if this is a widespread issue or isolated for a specific reason.
 
Follow planner is good and has a supportive team behind but unfortunately it cannot replace a desktop app, i noticed a lot of lags, bugs, and way way more follow blocks than with a desktop software eg jarvee/gmt
I submitter plenty of bug reports to the team, also requested features which are close to none, they said they will do but i still see their v3 api so no major update has been done
For those looking for an online bot its as good as it could be..
 
I have been using FB since Nov and I am still running good. I avg 6-900 likes per day with 3-500 f/UNF per day on all accounts and no like blocks. Three accounts are child accounts Doing 10 times every hour still running strong

Ah here we go again. Another uptick in like bans from Instagram and the inevitable hysteria from your average "just started growing my Instagram account" folks blaming whatever tool they are using, be that Followplanner, Jarvee etc. for it.

This was the same with the recent PV waves, disappearing posts and so on. You are missing the point: No matter which bot you are using you are playing a cat and mouse game with Instagram. If you are automating you are breaking Instagrams terms of service and you have to keep this in mind.

Almost all automation bots are emulating Android devices communicating with Instagram through the exact same API + sometimes a little bit of web API as well. Unless you are using something like the cheapest plan of Stimsocial, you have enough control over what your account is doing and how it's doing it. It is up to you to erase footprints that would make your automation too obvious for Instagram. The emphasis is on too obvious: None of the bots send for example touch and scroll info through Instagrams' API so Instagram probably knows if it is a human or a bot on the other end.

Why do they still allow bots? There is a weird symbiosis between Instagram and bots, even if they make it look like they are fighting with all means against them. If Instagram would remove all the accounts that are using some sort of automation from their platform that would remove around 60% of all engagement and more than half of the accounts from the platform. No shareholder would like to see that. My guess is that the last time they did a bot/inactive accounts purge on the 23rd of February they removed too many of them and didn't expect the hysteria that followed. After reverting, they claimed it was just a bug.

I and many many others are running accounts on Followplanner and Jarvee with no issues. If you are getting like blocks, it is a signal from Instagram that your account is outside of some bounds. What I do if this happens is stop whatever the block was for for at least a week. Like blocks when doing like after follow? No more like after follow for a week. Persisting? Change proxy. In this world what works today might not work in a week.

that's not the case, these people have the right to complain as it is true, fp is pretty buggy
