This is absolute BS !!!

It use to be 7 days or $7 if you wanted to reset your licence to another computer, now to move the software to another machine you need to wait 90 days or pay $11 and have it moved immediately.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is absolute rubbish !

It's because Ig became more stricter and tools like FL requires non-stop employees.
 
Have to disagree with you man, I'm 100% certain there is no need of a "human" verifying the request. Its just a money grab scheme

I thought it was instant the first time, and if you wanted to reset a second time, you needed to wait at least 7 days or pay. Not wait 7 days or pay the first time you try to reset?
 
@froger Correct. The thing is I'm not even moving machine I recently purchased TMB which runs on Windows only ( i was using MacOS), hence needed to reset my licence...
 
I know that FL can be used on only one machine at the same time, but once i tried and i was able to use a single license on two machines simultaneously without any tricks. I guess their system is not fool proof after all.

Maybe try that.
 
@HoNeYBiRD it will not allow me to START project. Is asking to reset licence first before continuing ...

I see, i guess they corrected this, it wasn't yesterday when i did what i mentioned.

90 days to reset a license sounds bullshit to me and their raising prices too.
Resetting a license should be automated, so it wouldn't require a human touch from them, but i guess in that case, they wouldn't have any reason to raise the price.

Looks like since they couldn't start charging users more for a lifetime payment they needed another way to make ends meet.

I thought if you just gonna move your license to a new machine you just have to uninstall the software and re-install it onto the new machine is it?
 
I just ran into this problem and had to pay this fee.

Absolute bullshit considering a few months ago I was able to reset the license for fucking free.
