Followliker monthly Subscription fee

Hi guys

I just need to be verified here.

Back in late 2017 followliker announced monthly payment of 5.99. I kind of did the subscription without further notice. Then I remember reading somewhere here that old users, (which I must say I am), wasn't supposed to pay anyways. They could donate if they wanted.
I just wanna make sure. I tried searching the forum, but couldn't really find a descent answere to my question, everyone says something different.

But I bought my account way before the mothly subscription fee was announced. Do I need to pay?

I've had a followerliker account since June of 2016 and I have not paid a single cent for their subscription thing. So no, you're good.

new users have to pay the fee but if you ordered before they implemented the monthly fee then you dont have to pay it.
 
i guess im one of the lucky ones then, never had to pay any fee

question... I have the 5 account license bought in february 2017 so I don't need to pay the monthly fee.. if I would like to uprade at the unlimited account one, do I need to pay the monthly fee?

If you bought your license before they changed it to monthly subscription fee you're ok...
 
Not quite right. If you have an old license, it is true, that you do not have to pay the subscription fee. But I have this question answered by FL. Support who claims: old users are not required to pay the monthly fee, however, if they don't, followliker does not promise them updates for the software or support.

My followliker is updated regularly...

As stated in their reply. They claim that they can't "PROMISE" update or support to none payers. I have their e-mail.
So I understand this as, you may get updates and maybe support now, but eventually in the future you won't
 
Anyone know the best way for old users to contact FollowLiker to ask them for a grandfathered-in upgrade w/o monthly subscription? I emailed their support email address, but got a canned response about the email being defunct.

All of the support ticket options on the website seem to just direct you to buy the service and not put you in touch with a human being.

Licenses upgraded or purchased after August 2, 2017 are required to have active monthly maintenance subscription.


NOT SURE IF IT Is an automatic response or by a human...
