Actually that does not solve the problem. May be you got lucky in your case. However, the problem is that FollowLiker needs to develop a functionality of accepting a new request added by Instagram. Once they develop it, it should be fine and I guess they are working on it.

Instagram has a bug in their anti-spam system. The issue is not something we can solve. Instagram will resolve it themselves.
Right-click on the affected accounts and select "Resume". Update your FollowLiker installation to version 9.8.0 and try again.
Also go to this page: www. followliker.com/tutorial/v2/faq.htm and read topics 46 and 45.
If the issue persists, pause the tasks for some days.

Wow!! How long ago did they write that???
Some here R saying followliker is working. Now followliker themselves say it doesnt work?? when did they say this?
In my case, there are some accounts that are working and some other that do not. However, I have not tried yet the method proposed by @a7kov although it makes a lot of sense, since we can access to any account outside FL, which means that the logins are not restricted. It probably is just FL having trouble dealing with the mobile/email verification steps (if you make them out of FL, it does not work. However maybe if FL makes the verification itself, it could be a solution).

In the top menu: help>check update
Then everything will update and you will need to restart the software. However it does not solve the problem.
One of my accounts suddenly stopped unfollowing. In the statistics it shows that it unfollowed a certain amount of people but in reality it hasn't. Do you know whats wrong?
Just as a matter of update, in case someone runs into this problem.
First, you must click on "pause" to pause the account.
Then you can click on "resume"
You may have to log into your email account that belongs to the IG, and get the verification code.
