FollowLiker + DeathByCaptcha = newbie question

Is DeathByCaptcha used with followliker to get rid of the PHONE statuses? Does it happen automatically?? I've been paying to get my accounts re-verified but I'm looking to cut down the cost and save some time. Any kind of help would be appreciated thanks!!
