Followers decreasing

I used to follow unfollow in instagram manually and for every 100 follows I got back about 50 followers but then in the last weeks I am getting very few followers. Did sth change recently n instagram.

many users are experiencing this behavior. i'm losing -10 a day

Are you posting regularly and keeping quality while doing f/u method?

OP, could be one of the reasons below:
1. Instagram's algorithm limiting new followers
2. Instagram catching more bots, so less new followers
3. MP licenses coming to an end, so less new followers
4. Your posts not as HQ, different hashtags from before, or not hitting top of hashtags used.

I did notice less followers for the accounts that I handle from clients, but that was in June. Now back to normal and going strong every day. Just keep at it, quality over quantity.

I am having the same experience. I used to have something like 20-30% follow back ratio but now it is near 5% or even less. It looks like the algo tries to delay the requests and then completely limit the reach. Anyone else experiencing the same effect as mine?
