Followers count stuck?

My 1 year old account just started this a couple days ago. People add and doesnt show up in my instagram counter. I talk to them and they say it shows up on their end. Also I add people and they dont show up in my following but shows up on their end.
Anything else you know about this "soft block"? like what caused me to get soft blocked?
Yes im 100% sure i even went on my other accounts hit follow on the account im having trouble with it follows no problem. Then I Log back into the account with the problem and it doesn't show up.

It just may get worse. Don't touch anything.
How long should i leave it alone? I noticed it a few days ago that my count would go up like usual about 200 followers a day. But each morning it was right back down at 8555. I just thought i was losing followers. Then i noticed the new ones were not showing up in my count

it also can be a bug similarly to the follow count bug they had before which lasted an eternity for them to fix it
or it can be what others said, instagram is up to no good lately with the lot of account bans, so it's maybe the newest addition to their defense system

IG is reversing all the activities which they find fishy, after I run FL and my followers and following increases it returns to the following/follower counts to exactly what it was 24hrs back! Nothing gets blocked though. I will give it a 2 days rest change all my settings and run for 12 hrs instead of 24hrs and see how it goes

I had this on my account and still does but maybe when you're doing a lot of actions and a lot of activities maybe don't look at it for 10 minutes or more because if you always look at it it freezes the account for some time and since they might know it is coming from you (meaning same ip or side) they freeze the account for some time and also it goes the same for notifications on the instagram app I noticed. The more you check your account, the more it will freeze.
Left it alone for a couple days. My counter jumped up over a 1k and it now shows everyone who added me. No longer resets after 24/hours

I came back to this and my follower count is fixed, if you follow a lot of people for a return of a follow back you need to like picture on the instagram app, they expect this that is what I wasn't doing and because of this it was stuck.

I got it back by simply using their 'report a problem' option from the app. I just told them to look into this problem, I didn't get any replies but got my counters jump over 1k after 10 minutes of reporting.
Could be a coincidence at my part but worth a shot who are still stuck.
