Are there any FREE programs that i can unfollow all non-followers on twitter and tumblr?
Most of them are sub based or free, but no "unfollow all non-followers" option and takes a shiet load of time.


Also is unfollow necesary? i see some following 50k people or smth.

Depends how many you want to unfollow. Sometimes it's more hassle setting up software or a service than just logging into twitter and manually unfollowing every few days.
