Follow + Unfollow at the same time?

Hey Guys,

Question for all of those currently botting their accounts. Right now, I am using massplanner and have the settings to unfollow users 5 days after the application has followed them. My question is - is it safe to run unfollow at the same time that I'm following new users? My unfollow settings are 5 day delay, 5-15 unfollow per operation with 40-60second delay, and perform each operation every 40-60 minutes. Thanks for the help.

Best to just follow only then unfollow only, if you mix them, instagram can flag it easier as spam since you're following / unfollowing within the same day

Thanks Nub. That makes it difficult because then you have periods where you're not gaining any new followers. On the unfollow days, how many unfollows is safe?
 
Instagress recently developed this function, if you are really interested you can give them a try. Their first three days is free.
 
depends, some people get away with doing both at the same time, though many people also say it's best to do it in alternate days, it's true you will have a little downtime during the days you're only unfollowing, but better safe then sorry :) .
 
I do both on the same day. it helps keep the "following" number lower (which helps with fb rates). I've been doing both actions on the same day for the past 6 months. No problems.
 
i never did both at the same time, but i am curious about keeping my follower growth consistent by doing it and avoid the gaps of no growth, it might help not to trigger alarms. what do you think?

Oh, you'll gain new followers since some will be following back while you're busy getting that following count closer to 0.

But it's either you get nerfed growth and risk getting flagged by doing both or you have short bursts of growth punctuated by slow days.

That shouldn't be the case if you're doing it right.

I follow up to a # of users, wait 12 hours & then start unfollowing. I still get followers during that 12 hour period. Keep doing everything else & they will come.

I am doing almost the exact same thing and have not had anything flag yet. It seems a rise and fall in following would be easier to identify than churn as long as you are not following and unfollowing the same users in the same day (which you have a 5 day delay). Unless IG penalizes you for doing the actions on the same day, the results should be the same or better as doing it in batches. I am not understanding why the batch system works better, does anyone have an explanation?
 
This usually doesn't work for me. After a while, I got hit by a couple of temp bans from doing it. It's usually better to follow then start unfollowing

If your account has aged 3 months you should be able to unfollow pretty agressively. I follow 60 per hour, 18 hours a day, and unfollow 240 per hour (120, wait 5 minutes, then 120 more.). Never had a problem doing this as long as my account gets to rest overnight.
 
Tried it for a few weeks, had shitty results. Back to follow 1 week, unfollow 1 week. Seems like engagement dropped significantly during the time as well.

really? i am unfollowing at 24 every 15 minutes, i should try 240 an hour!

Please, scale up slowly, and it varies from account to account how agressively you can unfollow, so tread lightly!
