Hope this thread won't take up space in this great forum, it my get a little boring in here (this thread, not the forum).

Here's the deal. I used to be self-employed online making good money providing a service and making a little affiliate income through Clickbank. Long story short, I fucked it up. 6 months ago I moved back in with my parents, I have a regular job now, and the desire to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a huge success online is at extreme levels.

Most importantly what I want to do is break my limiting expectations. Today I read one of the sticky's in this section of the forum, "The Real #1 Reason Why 95% Of You Will Always Fail", it was hugely inspiring (If you haven't read it yet, read it right now). I don't want to be the elephant. I don't want a limited belief system, I want an enlightened belief system.

If I can break past limiting boundaries every day and expand my mind, success will follow. So here's my ultimate goal of self-employment, and how I'm going to achieve it.

If any of you know about the websites or magazines "Men's Fitness", "Muscle and Fitness", or "Men's Health", you'll be able to understand what I'm trying to do. "Men's Fitness" is kind of my role model company. They have a highly visited website, and a highly popular magazine.

It's my goal to have an authority site in the male fitness category, much like the Men's Fitness website. My long term goal is to eventually have enough of an online following to be able to start production of a fitness magazine as well.

The site I'm going to build into an authority site is http://www.fitnessmale.com

I've already done some work to it, but there's much more to be done... it'll be an ongoing process.

Each day I'm going to post what I've accomplished for the day, this will probably be a little boring for you guys to read, but a huge motivator for me.

Every Saturday I'll post a pic of my Google Analytics for the previous week. We'll start off with one of the previous 7 weeks to show what kind of traffic I'm currently at.

I won't be posting anything about income for a while because my main goal right now is to increase daily traffic to the site, and also because it's not making me any money right now anyway.

This thread is for my own personal motivation to see myself rise up from nothing to something with this site, I'm using it as a public journal of my work, but hopefully my success will motivate some of you along the way.

Day One

Today I...

  • Posted a new article to the site.
  • Promoted the article via the websites Facebook page and Twitter account that I have set up.
  • Added content to the "Protein" page of the "Nutrition 101" section.
  • Made myself some goals and a to-do list for the site.

Goals for the website:

  • Post at least 1 article to the site each day.
  • Make at least 1 twitter and facebook post each day.
  • Add new content (other than an article) to the site each day.

To-Do List:

  1. Add content to the "Coming Soon!" pages.
  2. Add 120 more photos to the gallery.

This should occupy my time for 2 or so weeks. I'll eventually have to go back and add pictures and make the content on the pages of my site more "pretty" instead of just having text, but I need to get the content up first. So main thing right now is continue posting daily articles, try to fill the the blank pages on the site with content, and add new photos to the gallery.

Day 2

Today I...

  • Added a new article to the site.
  • Promoted the article via Twitter and Facebook.
  • Added 20 new photos to the gallery section.

[Note To Self]: The night before I only slept for 3 hours. Today when I got home from the gym I immediately went to sleep after eating. I then woke up 1.5 hours early (4:15 A.M.) to get this done so that I at least got something done for the day.

Day 3

Today I...

  • Added a new article.
  • Promoted the article via Twitter and Facebook.
  • Added content to the "Carbohydrate" page of the nutrition 101 section.
  • Added content to the "Sodium" page of the nutrition 101 section.

More of the same stuff tomorrow. Add another article and then fill in blank pages with content. I'm looking forward to getting all of the initial content in place so that I can go back and give each page a lot more attention.

So sad that nobody answer's, you know what?
BEACUSE THEY CAN'T FIND ANY NUMBERS $$$$ HERE :))))
I'll follow you thread for sure, really a great one keep it up

@michalemorski88 - I'll be posting traffic numbers on a weekly basis. I'll start posting income stats from this site when I start getting some.

Day 4

Today I didn't do anything for the site. I was only home for about an hour or two today, which was spent showering and eating. I didn't sleep in my own bed either, just got home this morning.

Day 5, 6, And 7

On day 5 and 6 I didn't do anything. I worked at the day job all day, went to the gym in the afternoon, and then had stuff to do each night, so I didn't have time.

On day 7 I didn't do anything either. I worked all day, went to the gym, and then after I got home and ate I laid down to take a nap and woke up 7 hours later.

Now it's 2 am. on day 8 and I've already gotten in my nights sleeps, so I have all day to get a lot of stuff done.

I'm glad I'm keeping this journal because I never would have realized that I just went 4 days without getting anything done online. This can't happen, I need to make time for the website every day.

Every week I'm going to post the previous weeks traffic resuts, so here they are for Sunday-Saturday.

Day 8

Today I...

  • Added a new article to the site.
  • Promoted the article via Facebook and Twitter.
  • Added content to the "Cholesterol" page in the nutrition 101 section.
  • Modified the header of the site to include a subscribe form instead of the ineffective ad that was there.

Not as much as I could have gotten done, but the header took some time to do. My old opt-in was at the bottom of the page and got no attention so hopefully I can start to build an email list now.

Day 9

Today I...

  • Added a new article to the site.
  • Promoted the article via Twitter and Facebook.
  • Added 20 new pictures to the "Gallery".

I did my internet work tonight while over at a friends house so I didn't put much time into it but at least got some stuff done.

Subscribed. I've always wanted an authority site. Lets me branch out from my current IM. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to updates

Thanks everyone who's subscribed/bookmarked, been silently following, or will be following.

Day 10

Today I...

  • Added content to the "Calories" section of nutrition 101.
  • Promoted the gallery via Facebook and Twitter.

I'm about to lay down and come up with some more solid goals, to-do list, etc... I'll add them to tomorrows post.

Day 11

I didn't do anything today. And I fell asleep last night without making any goals or things. I gotta buckle down. This journal is opening my eyes to how little I actually get done in a week.

Don't get caught slacking man, trust me you'll regret it in the long run.

I am very interested. I will keep a close eye on this thread.

They say it's highly unlikely for a person to suddenly drop their old habits and form new ones that portray the life they've always dreamed of living... my goal for the week is to challenge that and become the exception to the rule.
