Hi all,so basically I'm starting my Instagram journey and was about to purchase a vps to run follow liker on, my question is what operating system vps should I use and also what the requirements like ram and cpu would I be looking at to run fl with about 10-15 accounts thanks,

Off-topic question someone more experienced would maybe be willing to answer:

What are mostly ones reason(s) to use a VPS for FL (or any other automatization tool) instead of just your desktop or laptop? I mean.. I can also just let my laptop run the tool without going into standby mode.

With me personally I don't have a spare desktop or laptop in the house and I would have to resort in using my MacBook Pro, and as my Mac is about 4 years old o would fear that it would lag the hell out of it so for that reason I would like to go for a vps, on top of that my internet connection isn't the best too

@OP, windows 2008 and about 1gb-3gb of ram with your setup should do it.

My task manager says my 2 FL projects that currently run 18 accounts are using 90KB of my RAM.. it's not really much.. but I do have a decent laptop. It's not spare but I don't take it out of the house anyway other than that I travel to another place every 2 weeks.

Why would you want to fry your laptop when you can keep it running 24/7 for like $7 or so per month?
