Hello!
I've been lurking this forums for almost a year now, and I must confess that I was a bit skeptical at first. All those people making money online and gathering here to share their secret techniques and tips. Come on, it's too good to be true.
My daily job is programming (which also happens to be my hobby) and since I spend a lot of time on the internet I thought I knew pretty well how everything worked (IM included as well). Now I can say I was complete and utterly wrong.
What I understood most of all from reading lots of methods, systems, techniques... is that there's no holly grail and no get-rich-quick solution. Not every one of them succeded, but the ones who did invariably had a lot of hard work behind. Sometimes during a short span of time, and others during longer periods, but the same hard work nevertheless is always present.
I got a lot of respect for that, and I just recently took my time to seriously read the most popular threads around here (in the Making Money section, in particular). Been taking notes and stopped every time I didn't understand a word or concept of IM and google it.
Now I'm pretty confident that I will be able to start implementing some of the methods posted here during the next few days.
Well, this was supposed to be a simple welcome post and I almost wrote a biography
