Fluctuation in Keywords

I've had a specific keyword that I've been ranking at no.1 for a while now.
But recently it has started to fluctuate from no.1 to unranked and back to no.1 again the day after.

Its been going on for about a month now, and I've tried changing up the article its ranking for without any success of stopping the fluctuation. Any idea what might be wrong?

It's called Google Dance. Observe for a few days, if there is no serious Issue then build some quality backlinks. Then again wait & observe for a few days.

i think it is just because of google dance so please do onpage and include your targeted keywords , do competitor analysis find some new and high authority links and make links on that site by the way currently when we work on any url or makes some new links then its fluctuate when you will stop work on that then it will become stable

It may be a Google dance like others pointed out but you should also keep an eye on the recent algorithm updates. Wait for sometime and start building links on a gradual basis, hope you will get back to the top again.
