Use plenty of different sources, use this forum for example, do some research on Google which is probably your best bet, from there the internet is the limit

it really depends how much value you can add to the site during the flip. Think of it just like a house. You usually can't but a house then sell it instantly without any changes.

You can learn from everyone experiences, tips, etc on google

I'm currently reading a book called "Website Investor" by Jeff Hunt. I found him after googling info on what to look for when identifying sites to purchase... i'm only half way through, but as a newbie it's given some really good info to start with.
