So the thread is closed? Really? I thought it was quite helpful and was actually interested in doing it. And then it gets closed?
But, it seemed like the whole thread might have been a warmup or presale for some kine of service? I really hope shezboy wasn't just conning us the entire time, that's really messed up if it's true.
It'd be nice if he could clear this up.
It was a really good thread in my opinion. Too bad really...
You genuinely think I was conning people? Seriously!?
I have been doing the whole book flipping thing the way that I explained it in my other thread for some time now. It's not based on some theory or idea. It's not blackhat or anything that's just gonna go pop over night. It was a method laid out for anyone who was interested in taking some action and actually creating a decent income for themselves.
And just like the ShezBlogging method that I freely gave away here at BHW I also gave this method away.
Now, to me, this method isn't rocket science. It isn't some breakthrough method that no one else has ever discovered either but as it turns out a lot of people became very interested in it and wanted to know more about it. I was happy to answer any questions about the method to help out those who wanted to take action with it.
Then I soon realised that as more and more people asked different questions about it, answering them on a thread would cause all of the information to become fragmented. This is exactly what happened when I gave away the Shezblogging method here at BHW.
In that instance and this one I realised that there was a demand for this information and little supply.
To remedy that situation, 5 days after starting the Book Flipping thread, I bought a domain so I could set up a blog about the FBA Book Flipping method. A day or so later I started to write out a very detailed ebook on the subject that spoonfed the entire method from start to finish. The method in the book goes beyond what had been mentioned in the thread and not just in finer detail either.
That book took a few days to write out. It wasn't something thrown together in a rush either.
Once everything was completed I created a sales page for the book and then created a BST thread which was submitted to BHW.
It was then brought to my attention by a Mod here that the original thread could be seen as a warm up/pre-sales thread and they closed it due to me submitting a BST. Now that is fair enough. The Mod was doing things totally by the book and I just hadn't thought that it would appear as it did. I didn't create the original thread as any kind of warm up thread. I didn't even think about creating the ebook until 5 days after starting the thread.
It's rare that I plan what I am doing the next day let alone 5 days in advance.
I hope that helps explain more clearly the reason for the original thread being closed. But please don't accuse me of conning anyone. That's not me and not what I am about. I've not been around here since 2008 to con people and please feel free to search my posts for proof of that.
I am glad that you found the original thread of use. It is a really solid method that anyone can do and I am sorry that I am unable to answer any questions about it on that thread now it's closed.
Thanks,
Shez
