    Is it possible to buy a website and sell it to someone else for a higher price without renovating it or making any changes? Like day to day trading. Would it be a stupid decision to buy a site on flippa and try and make a profit without making any changes.

    Not stupid at all gucci. If you do you research on the domain, and it shows say 30 high page rank linksmaybe some real .gov links and .edu and all look legit no spam links and domain name is based around a niche that has a market and you think you can $300 dollars more than the current value. No reason not to buy it and flip it right? Might be hard to do to find those daily. But if you actually want to do this I am sure you can find away to make it work for you. But doing that daily just seems like a pain.

    There are plenty of individuals that buy & sell sites for a living, what's going to determine if you'll make money or not is if you have your "own" private list of buyers that you can market your sites to. It'd be difficult to purchase a site on Flippa and then immediately relist it for profit as Flippa will show potential buyers that it has been previously listed (And the previous sale amount) and it's unlikely bidders will bid more then the previous sale amount especially if there have been no changes on the site such as a redesign or increase in revenue.

    Surely there are guides on that. Read up on the basics and view how others are selling their websites and get a feel of what sells. Also if your business mainly focuses on website flipping, then when doing the numbers you might not need to flip a website daily to meet your expectations.
    Your product is websites. So create some projections on the next year or 2 that you want your growth to be.
    say you sell "X" amount of websites a day. And the cost of those websites is "Y"
    You can then create some projections

    ex. Day 1: Company buys 3 Websites were bought at avg $1.3k each total -- $3.9k initial investment.
    Day 3 Sold those 3 websites (somehow) at avg of 1.45k each. Total
    Revenue = $4350
    Expenses = $3900
    Net=$450

    Of course if you have legal services, accountants, employees, insurance you would also factor in that in expenses in addition.

    It's difficult to suggest where to start when there are so many factors budget constraints even though its just website flipping.

    Basically in my opinion its up to the Chief of what you want, instead of flipping 3 websites at 1.5k each maybe you just want to flip 1 site at4k and save the head ache of selling 3 websites, and only have 1 website to sell.

    Purchase sites that are already ranking and making money, optimize the site for better ad placement and do some additional SEO. Once the site is making more income/revenue from the revamp, sell it for a profit. AdSense sites are the hottest sellers on Flippa and usually sell for around 12 months worth of revenue.

    I do this type of flip sometimes. Here is my process. 1. Find domains/whois info on sites that are about to expire 2. parse and list by rank,backlinks,niche, market potienal in a spreadsheet or database 3. send bulk email with an offer to all the sites on my list. You can set this up for a good/easy side income if you automate it.(i automated everything but the offer, that I type in manually after i review the stat list.)
