Recently i saw some hype about io ext domains.. So I got a LLLL .io dictionary word domain. Without wasting anytime i've listed it on flippa.

Seeing some recent flippa .io sales,
movie.io - $ 6,500
sms.io - $ 7,500
file.io - $ 4,050
paid.io - $ 6,000
film.io - $ 2,000
lift.io - $ 3,150
ecommerce.io - $ 2,050, And considering my domain's .com ext was valuated at $122,000. I'm hoping to get a xxx-xxxx sale too.

What do you guys think? Is .io worth it?

You might get a good price on flippa. I could be like a lot of the other domain extensions where they start off with a bang and then bust. You are doing the right thing to liquidate it as soon as possible. In my personal opinion the people who managed to get those high prices for their .IO domains were very good at marketing (probably well known domainers) and it is unlikely you will acheive the same success. Those 4 letters are going to have to be really, really well put together to get more than 1k.

Check PM please.

I replied to your PM. Good luck with your sale.

I can say that I have had in the past decent LLLL.net domains that I let expire because I couldn't sell them. Some words are just not marketable even if they are short and memorable unless they are .com's. You could always try to sell your .IO to the owner of the .com and .net to see if they will bite.
