Flippa Sucks, please read!

Okay, I listed one of really my only valuable websites a couple of weeks ago on Flippa, it's a MNS making $450 per month and here 16 days later, no response or payment from the buyer and nothin has been done by Flippa, I'm out my listing money and I don't have the money from aellig my site that I really needed! Stay away or be extremely cautious. It really hurts when you expect funds from something and you don't get them, especially when you're expecting them from a reputable website.

Reputable Website DOES NOT necessarily equate to Reputable Buyer my friend. Next time, have do diligence and look into who you're giving away to... >.<

first post here and you are complaining about a reputable site......

If your selling anything over a couple hundred dollars on flippa use escrow especially if the buyer has no feedback etc.
paypal dont provide cover for intangible items so a buyer can even do a chargeback to their credit card 6 months after buying the website and leave you out of pocket.

Flippa are not perfect either, I once did a buy it now on a website that popped up for sale was given the you won the auction screen etc and paid via paypal and then found out from the seller that someone else binned it at the same time as me
and becuase there paypal payment hit his account first that they won the auction.

Flippa denied there system was flawed and would not admit any responsibility they just gave me a 50$ credit for my trouble.

Why you're pissed, your site dropped in earnings?

That was a wrong choice of first post. If you want to go a long way here start reading others posts rather than complaining about some reputed sites. Please don't take decision in a haste.

Did you file a dispute after 3-4 days without payment? The winning bidder then has 72 hours to respond or you can relist for free.

I'm from Flippa.

Every now and then auctions end with a winner on Flippa but for a range of reasons the buyer backs out later. We're incredibly serious about limiting this and work hard to reduce it. This includes aiding/educating sellers in qualifying potential bidders, requesting buyer credit card verification on bids over $2,000, and suspending buyers that are not seen to be serious investors on Flippa.

Even so, we acknowledge that some sales still end up not completing successfully such as what you seem to have here. In these cases we credit your account with all listing and upgrade fees and naturally don't chase up a success fee. Simply initiate a sales dispute from your listing sales completion area and our support team will resolve it based on the information you provide as well as the potential response from the buyer.

We reflect lost disputes (ie when the user was at fault) on the buyer's profile page so that future sellers are aware of the buyer being a flight risk.

Hope that helps. I like to think this makes Flippa not suck after all. ;-)
