I have a debt solution website, and used to run a debt solution company.
I would call the leads that come in off the website, discuss their options, and pitch a service, such as bankruptcy, debt management etc.

After 4 years I didn't want to do this anymore, so now all the leads that come in are sent to another company whom then handles them and pays me 20% commission on the sale.

I've decided to sell this website, but really need some advice on the proof of revenue section.
I have proof of the amount of leads generated, but I'm unsure how I can prove the earnings from the leads.

I have a database of every client's name and when they paid, but that is sensitive information. I could blur out all the names, and then it's just rows of figures.

Anyone have any idea?

I think your best bet is to just blur a portion of the name, then show the numbers like the amount they paid, your cut, etc. afterall, thisis where the revenue come from. You can't made up some sort of revenue source since it will just make some problems later with the buyer.

How much are you asking for the website? And how many leads do you generate on average? Might be interested..

The site is ranking for relevant keywords. It's 7 years old - a well established site.
No PPC.
The only costs involved are hosting.

I'm going to include a screenshot of each month from 2011 on Flippa, showing leads that paid, and what amount, to demonstrate yearly income. These figures reflect what can be made if you process the leads yourself.
So, for people that just want to buy the site and have 100% passive income, I'll just talk about the going rate of commish being 20%.

I can recommend a contact they can use if they can't source their own, so someone could ineffect just buy the site and continue to run it and make commission.

I will also include a screenshot showing leads that have come into the site this year, so far.

Do you think this is sufficient evidence to prove revenue?

No one can guess if it's sufficient - just test it live!
For me it would be enough. :)

D

i guess it would not enough for the most buyers.
a handmade list can be everything ...

maybe you can offer to show your income via teamviewer.

If you have proof of revenue of 4 years, you can sell at least 2x of your yearly revenue.
Don't post it at flippa,pm me if you want a good broker,he sold my site for 6 figures
Regards
