Hello,

I recently became interested in site flipping, but after i read about the listing fees on flippa, i kinda stopped. I mean 19$ to list each website? What if i have 10 websites to submit? Wouldn't that be kind of a losing deal? I really need to know.

Thanks!

Don't forget the success fee if the site does sell. Also you need to highlight or frontpage your listing is you want to get enough attention, and that costs money too.

I agree :S Do you have any other alternatives?

If you can sell your site for good money, the fees are nothing. For $19 you can list and get your money back more than 100x. For a free alternative go with DP but don't expect them to pay more than $50 or so for a site.

So yes, Flippa is worth it.

Is really depends on the value of the sites you want to sell.

If these site are new with no revenues, then the investment may not be worth it because most of the sites with no revenues are not selling for much...offer/demand problem

But if some of these site have revenues, then it might justify the $19 because the return may be good. Of course, without knowing all the details about these sites, it's impossible to give you real valuable advices.

Flippa is something like a win win maker deal. If you have a good website to list with lot of traffic and revenue, then its worth the time to spend the money and list the auction. If you are on budget and prefer getting lesser returns there are websites similar to flippa and you can list them there :)

Thank you :) Can you please recommend a good website?

Just have the buyer pay the full success fee and you don't have to worry about it.

Also, the listing fee and feature price will more than pay for themselves assuming you have a good site and can write a good sales copy.

I try selling my website for an insanely good deal and people just keep asking for more and more "proof" and stuff. Ends up not getting sold. Their loss!

flipping, is this only done with websites, can it be done with blogs, or as a noob, am i out of the ball park on this one lol
i got a good angle on some niches and domain names, but i cant design sites , and i cant see there being a site for sale in DP within my niche , so im thinking blogs..

Yeah you can sell a blog too. A blog is still a type of site.

If you're new, try reading around the forums a little bit or buy a site flipping ebook to learn more about it. I have 'Killer Flipping Secrets' which was created by 2 guys on this forum and it's definitely worth the price. Do a search and you will find it. (And no I'm not affiliated with them.)
