Newbie here.

We have ran a side business for the last 9 months selling micro-saas templates as ready made businesses focused around 5 main products.
My day business now demands more time so am selling this - we made around £18k net so have listed on Flippa.
What should we expect from here? Had 2 messages so far and a one person interested at $18500 - is listed for $22k.
Is it worth the upgrade in ads?
It's got all out financials etc on there so all information is ready to hand

Go for it. It's the only real marketplace where sites are continuously selling. I've sold a couple of small starter sites there. I think the experience is subjective. Just be mindful, and go in with a price in mind. Make sure your escrow is set up so that no one plays with your money and you should be fine.

Invest in ads, it will give much higher price.

The ads upgrade is worth it IME. It gives you 10x visibility at least. But as always, you never know, you may end up not selling the site. But if it's meant to be sold, then with ads it's 10x more likely to.

Do you have a business plan to hand over to buyer?
So if you want 100k for your business of 18k how will a buyer make 100k? Or even 22k you gotta lay it down on your business plan else you may or may not sell. No one care about how you made money they want to know how they can make money.

That's perfectly logical.

This is true too.

Is it worth the upgrade in ads?
Flippa is known to be the most busy marketplace for selling digital assets. That's why it keeps asking to upgrade your listings to paid ones. If you were selling a small time domain or a starter website, upgrading to premium is not always a feasible option. But in your case, since your product is of high value you should consider upgrading the listings to get more eyeballs.
In your case upgrading will be worth it. So I think you should go for it.

It's pretty subjective, I had a listing sold in 28 days and with basic package they suggested to me, but If you need the asset to be sold fast, then you can opt for upgrades, you may wanna check this new feature they added recently called "First access" they says it helps connect you to more premium buyers.
