Hi BHW friends.

Please leave below your recommendations for courses/trainings/services/wso/etc on how to make money selling websites on Flippa (preferably Starter Sites).

Preferably white hat methods, but if your recommendation involves gray/black hat methods, your suggestion would also be welcome.

If you bought a course/offer/wso/etc that wasn't worth it, leave the name/link so that I (and other members) don't waste time and money on useless things.

Best regards

I did 6 figures within several years on Flippa until they banned me apparently for VPN usage.

Never read any courses or guides, honestly didn't even think that those exist.. Everything is self-explanatory:

1. Create sites from templates
2. Sell

That's pretty much it. I threw some Ecommerce courses in as freebies and that's that.

I think there is too much competition these days because it's literally the easiest thing you could do.. It's easier than to sell on eBay where you need to implement product and listing SEO + million other variations.. On Flippa you just list and sell, make your sites visually attractive (this is what I always did).

My competitors sold ugly WP templates that I wouldn't even take for free but you'd be surprised how many people still bought them.

My strategy was to sell Shopify sites so I got paid for the sites I sold on Flippa and Shopify also paid me monthly affiliate fees.. I still receive like 150-300 $ per month from their affiliate program.

But it's a toxic environment, the staff is just ridiculous. Lots of people got banned for nonsense reasons and some of their own staff members started selling starter sites. Added fake feedback to Trustpilot and bought people who left negative ones. Fucking ridiculous how they managed that site (and still manage today).

Thank you for responding very quickly. That's the question because it isn't easy with checking that website and build it. If do I want to have more profit I must invest in it and fill it up with content. That's the question. How they are called that business? "as slang " or as common words. Am I gonna try to surf it by keyword? What is service do I check for choosing the right website? How I can check scammers? Thank you

Honestly, I am not sure what you are asking.

If you meant how do you find a site that is worth buying so you won't get scammed then it's too complicated to answer.. You just need to understand to check/verify Google Analytics, GSC, and any third-party tool (just to name a few).

If you still want to buy a site then find one and ask for advice from the community.

Hellll. Sounds bad. Thanks for your advice. I exactly meant about that. This time I'm seeking a way to make money with traffic. Honestly even here quite difficult to get any clue for the right way..

Check out Empire Flippers. Their mods have done all the research and have verified the site's metrics & revenue.

It's an upgrade from Flippa and you won't get scammed there, however, the projects cost more. They only accept sites that they can fully verify.

Could you share with me please something? Where I can take these courses?
One of them I bought on BBHF, the other I managed to download for free somewhere I don't remember anymore.
Did you find any value in those courses?
As I had never read about the grey/black hat methods that were practiced at Flippa, it was good to have learned something new.

Really, I find a lot of advertising with codecanyon scripts. :D

How exactly did you apply this technique of selling Shopify stores?

You could just build a business and sell it for way, way more.
If I build a successful business I prefer to keep making money from it rather than selling. :D:D

Good to know. The sites listed there actually have very high minimum values. For those looking to buy a profitable business, it's a good option.

How exactly did you apply this technique of selling Shopify stores?

I am not even familiar with the codecanyon scripts to be honest. I did everything old-school style.

Just created Shopify developer account and modified the themes that I bought from ThemeForest.

It's a lot harder to modify a Shopify theme than a WP theme.. you need to do lots of legwork and build elements and sections manually that can't be automated really.

From hundreds of sites that I sold, I got negative feedback maybe once or twice that the staff gladly removed so I was rolling always on 100% positive feedback. The regular customer on Flippa isn't aware of most basic things like private email costs or Shopify fees so every once or then you'll end up with a customer who thinks you should pay those fees for them.

2 months ago someone from BHW sold me their Flippa account that I haven't still used.. Thought maybe I should get back to business.. I still have like 25-30 unsold and fully made Shopify sites under my developer platform and at least 2000 or more templates that I never finished.. If I'd add the price for 199 $ per site I'd walk away with 6000 $ easy.

Like I said it's relatively easy to sell there.. Make your sites visually superior to others and that's all you need to succeed.

Thanks for sharing your experience with me. I never stopped to look at the source code of Shopify templates, I started to have some contact with Shopify now because I'm venturing into creating a dropshipping store. :D

But I've been looking at some Flippa ads and looking at what people are most interested in and I'm putting that information together to plan something that might work for me too.
