Flippa is a great place to buy good money-making sites. Unfortunately, some people have entered the scene, deceiving newbies that the sites they want to sell would make thousands of dollars per month.

This auction is an example:

flippa.com/138100-Investment-Opportunity---4230month-on-autopilot

about the auction:

- duplicate content site
- fake traffic report
- fake income report
- site with only 2 pages

the list goes on.

The guy has many sites listed with the same crap

I suppose it was deleted.

Well anyways, I know that there is a tool (not really sure, I think it was custom made by someone in my IM) and it just sends tons of fake traffic on any keyword, well if you are going to buy site(s), always check Google Rankings and check ADWords Keyword Tool.

Concerning Revenue, you can use Teamviewer if something is suspicious.

lol this asshole sold another site like this for another 4 grand ....
i saw it today , it really looked suspicious , no rankings , site is from 8 of may and so on there are a lot of aspect you should look before buying a site from flippa or any other site like flippa

flippa.com/138114-Investment-Opportunity---3030month-on-autopilot
flippa.com/138107-Investment-Opportunity---2160month-on-autopilot

it's the same scammer

This is crazy on the part of the buyers. What also surprises is flippa allowing such things. Very surprising. Not even a single comment on the auction pages.

This is ridiculious how the hell is he getting away with that BS???

EDIT: Almost every single time (bar one) there has been only one bidder. Lol here is one of his feedbacks
completely false listing. Had my adsense account cancelled before end of escrow from his traffic!

You guys should look at alternative selling/buying marketplaces. I got scammed on flippa so I decided to build my own marketplace. I lost 2k, tried to do a chargeback and my visa said too bad.

also i notice that they get won by 1 bid each and everytime which is now sending a pattern. I noticed loads of these goin up last night.

Just wondering how flippa auctions are moderated.

From the listing -

"We will provide 60,000 UV/month to the site for a cheap monthly investment of $150, after you buy the site, we will give you a link to subscribe to the monthly payment via paypal. This fee is for the traffic campaign of 60,000 UV/month.The traffic quality is as good as the search engine traffic. It's simple, you buy the site, and invest $150 each month and you make atleast $4,230/month guaranteed. If you don't make atleast $4,230/month, we will increase the traffic and make sure you make atleast $4,230/month.This is a no risk investment."

No risk! Except your adsense account. Google is not stupid. Also you can buy this type of traffic on this forum for cheaper than that. This guy is even making money on that.

Check out the profile. He has made 40k in a month! Wow

Updated - notice that there are hardly any comments on the first 5-7 auctions. Auctions like these will bring comments always.
He could have made up other flippa profiles and then bought the bin himself from those other profiles. Then leave positive comments. He now has a good rep for newbies.
Then he made 10-15k on the last ones.
But now the negitive comments are starting. Its pure evil.

Yep,
There is a thread with a noobie that brought one of these sites. He started making like $50/ day or something crazy.

But then.....the ban hammer came and google banned his adsense site. I think he only paid like $400 for the site, but still that's a hell of a lot. He said the buyer had a +6 rep as well.

He might have gotten a refund, I have to find the thread.

I dont thing he could have bought some flippa profiles himself in order to buy those same auctions with bin. Remember he would have to pay 5% success fee on every sale. Some fools are just falling for his scam. That's it.
