Quick question for the site flippers in here.
When you’re running auctions on Flippa, do you prefer to hide the reserve or show it upfront?
Personally I’ve found hiding the reserve generates way more leads. A lot more bids, a lot more messages, and way more conversations with buyers, even if some of them never end up bidding past reserve. For me the extra conversations alone have been worth it.
That said, I know some sellers swear by showing the reserve to filter out time wasters and only attract serious buyers.
Curious what’s worked best for you. Any noticeable difference in final sale price, buyer quality, or time to sell?
