    Hey guys,

I was wondering if I could make a few bones setting up a simple site, and seeding it with great niche content? Rinse and repeat.

I'm not looking to get rich here by any means, but is it worth the effort?

I would be writing the articles myself. I'm a successful writer of online content, so that won't be a problem.

Flippa is a site where the majority of website sellers are either scammers and/or liars out to make a quick buck out of buyers who get sucked in to the selling hype and BS then they get carried away a buy a website that often turns out to be a dud!

I would do what you suggest but on 1 or 2 sites that you build into revenue generating Authority Sites or Google News approved sites you will make good money that way, and the site you sell will be a site that genuinely earns money...

    Just my 2 cents...

Yeah, I just saw different sites claiming that their site provides quality content, but when you search it from google you can see that all of their articles are PLR and those PLR are used by many websites on the same niche.

I've done this in the past, but it's not worth it any more. You'll earn far more money by selling 10 articles, even over Fiverr, than you will by building a site, posting 10 articles and then selling it. Unless you manage to rank the site it will be worth peanuts, trust me.

To break it down: a site with poor rankings but 10 high quality, unique articles and a high quality design will usually sell for about $60. Take away the fees and you're left with about $30. Even on Fiverr you'll get more than $3 per article and you won't have the hassle of creating a site as well.

A better option is to build a site and keep adding content regularly, build some backlinks and then once it's ranking and making money look at selling it. Won't be a quick turnaround but at least it'll be profitable.

Thanks for the info guys! I guess I'll just stick with Constant-Content. I could see doing what you suggest dcuthbert, but I would probably need a partner to get the revenue coming in. Might not be worth the effort in the end.

Flippa plagued with con artists as some have said. You will be wasting your time building niche sites. Genuine buyers only interested in sites that generate some revenue, which they can work on further to increase revenue even more.

Would heed above advice and build your own site to earn yourself money.
