Flawless Game Plan - To $10,000 Only With AdSense

I've only made about $50 with AdSense in my 4 years of IM. CPA and direct affiliate offers have always brought me quicker and easier success than anything AdSense related that I've attempted. After seeing lots of success stories about noobs making pretty decent passive money off AdSense with just Pinterest or other free traffic sources, I began researching. It took me about a week of Googling, reading case studies, and bouncing ideas off of friends, but I think I've come up with a plan that will guarantee me at least enough earnings to justify the work put into the project. Best part about this project is it's 99% whitehat, and it can transition into a real big business if I make the right choices and work hard.

The plan starts out with one large, viral-ready website. Think of something similar to "Upworthy". It's a 100% clean/compliant website, with lots of interesting/sensationalized content that encourages visitors to share/like/browse the site. It has 2-3 AdSense units on each page. Of course I'm going to have all of the standard social profiles set up and possibly a YouTube channel in the future.

All of that is great, but without traffic, it's worthless, so onto that. To get the website going, and build the name I'm going to be sharing on lots of Facebook pages that I have and will be building up (If you have a lot of fans and want to help, we could arrange some sort of profit sharing while we're working together!). I'm also going to test out Pinterest, and Tumblr to see if they're worth my time. I feel like their primary demographics are also the type that share a lot of content, so I have high hopes for them. I also plan on making niche blog or news type sites, that will all link/redirect to the main one, and promoting in smaller, easier to get to market to communities.

I have other ways of generation traffic that I won't be sharing here, for obvious reasons. The most important thing to note is, I won't be paying for any traffic, aside from possibly Facebook posts or fan pages.

This is a very low overhead business plan, so I'm not going to be taking expenses into account when making goals. Here are the current goals I have:

$100
Pretty self explanatory. Hoping to make at least $100 just off of testing traffic sources.

$50/Day for a week
Shouldn't take me too long. It will be easy to make this much just by manually promoting the site. I'm hoping to make $50/day coming in just off of shares and other social traffic very soon.

$100/Day for a week
Extension of the above goal.

50 visitors on the site at all times for a day*
*Statistically
Say my average user session time is 1 minute. I would need 72,000 visitors in one day to reach this goal.

A Viral Post
I'm going to go with 10,000 Facebook shares on a post to define a viral post. Of course I'll let you guys know if I have any posts that are on the way to that.


The most important thing I have to do right now, is fill up my site with content. I don't want to risk only having one post and going viral with barely anything on the site!

After that's done, I'm going to start Pinterest and Tumblr traffic. I have no idea how I'm going to go about either, but I have made money with Tumblr in the past so I know it's worth my time.

Go for it dude! I'm in the same boat as you. I'm in the beginning stages of my Adsense journey. I'll definitely be checking up on your journey if you keep updating it. I think it's an achievable goal with time

No, the journal isn't dead yet haha. Haven't had a lot of free time since I made the thread, but here's what I have done:

2 full articles with images.
Set up all of the share/FB like widgets. Purchased a social sharing WP plugin.
Set up a FB fan page.
Found images for more articles.

More progress very soon! I have all day tomorrow to get shit done.

Interesting. I'm on the same path. I'm already done with the site. I hand-coded it to be mobile responsive, and so I could have full control over everything. I have 3 posts so far. I'll start heavy promotion after 20 posts. Good luck!

That's awesome! I'd definitely throw a link up to your site if you do the same for me once we get steady traffic coming in, haha.

Update:

Added more content, planning out Tumblr, and figuring out how Pinterest works. Not making as much progress as I had hoped.
