flaunt7 scammed me and steal my 2 years site

Flaunt7 is the worst of all of server provider I encounter of my IM life.

At 1st they are really good taking goodcare of you specially when you are new in their as a client, until then after I age about 2-4 month with their care, the problem started raising like my site keeps getting downtime multiple times in a weeks. Every downtime i keep making ticket to ask for help from them since I am no technical person who dont knows about IT stuff. There support are suckers, they keep always asking for money just to check for the downtime problem even I know for sure that their VPS provided is faulty.

Until such time 3 days ago, I ask them to fix the DDOS attack problem since they offer the service for free and until now 2 days straight the site is DOWN, no tickets answered, They keep closing my ticket even its not answered.

I really dont know what do to just to retrieved my files in cpanel or just to migrate to other provider. They steal my 2 years of work in that site. Please help me guys. :(

Sorry to hear that, but you didn’t keep any backup of your site?
 
Shitty support is one thing, but I don't see how they stole your site.

Wait until this DDOS problem is fixed and just backup and migrate to a new server. And if you're looking for something affordable, go with a reputable company.

That is my biggest issue, I never make back up of my site :( thats why I cant migrate to other provider. They are reputable tho, in fact they are top 1 on HostAdvice for offshore server provider.

Unfortunately I did not make any back up for my site, my last back up was on may 2018. :(

Blaming idiots for interruptions is like blaming clowns for scaring children - they can't help it.

Truely ask yourself, who's fault was this? What did you learn?

You really kept that hosting after you experienced "multiple downtimes" ?

Learn your lesson and move on buddy.

It doesn't really matter if you are sad or upset. Nothing is going to happen.
 
Always always always always backup. I backup everything monthly from the database to the entire home directory keep a copy in a google drive and on my pc. Can't stress it enough backup backup backup

Also i recommend offshore-servers i have been with them for awhile now and they have never done me wrong. EXCELLENT support, great service and i've only experienced downtime because of issues on there end once.

I learned it the hard way, anways do you have good reputable offshore server that you can recommend?

2) BACKUP!!!!!!!

I AM Sorry to hear about your loss,
I am not advocating flaunt7 here, but most of the hosting providers do not backup data, its your data so it should be your responsibility.
Things like server crash happens, I remember when i was working with a company in 2013 servers goes down and company was also drained in that downtime. people complaints alot about the backups but their backup servers were also crashed due to datacenter burn.

HostAdvice looks like they're just affiliates. I would take any blog doing reviews and getting a commission for it with a grain of salt.

You're probably better off browsing here and other forums for reputable hosting. Personally I use beyondhosting, but some of their more premium servers are a bit pricey.

I am not really into illegal/border-line legal stuffs, so I never needed offshore hosting till date. My experience with Digital Ocean and Linode have been excellent. I also have a small server with Hyonix from BHW, which works fine for bots. I would recommend these...
