Flash Question

Wasnt sure where to post this, so thought here would be ok.
Ok basically i wanted to ask, if i have a program running, say a program that auto rates youtube videos etc, i know its done through IE how do i disable it so the videos dont actually play? I use to have it disabled before, but for some reason i installed flash for IE and now they auto play, ive tried disabling it in internet tools but the videos still play, then i tried removing flash player plug in but that just disables it on firefox aswel.

Anyone know?
