Flash Games - Host or not ?

Hey guys, i have a question regarding flash games. Does it matter if i don't host the flash games ? Currently i'm just embeding them

Depends.. It's my understanding if you host them you get credit for the ads being shown on them even if another site is imbedding them through you. Otherwise there is really no difference imho. I would look at your web host's T.O.S. and see if it's against their rules to host 'em..

For example; with my host (HostGator) I have to imbed them rather than host since I'm on a shared server. But if i coughed up the extra few bucks for even a vps it would be completely "legal" to host them through my site.

your joking right about hostgator ah beep I spend 100's on them, I need to read the ToS then lol as thinking on my new site to have flash games

I think it wouldn't really matter as long as you have the rest of the content SEO friendly, and there are some gaming networks that pay you even if you not host the games

I remember reading somewhere that it is against the T.O.S. for the HostGator shared servers (like mine). But if you are paying for anything other than a shared server with HostGator you are ok.

(Paying much more than the business plan at 13ish bucks a month for unlimited domains/unlimited data would constitute this)
