Flash Cookies - What can they see

I have a few sets of eBay and Paypal accounts that I use to sell different things. The PP accounts are verified with real bank accounts and everything has separate addresses, phone numbers, etc.

I was reading somewhere about Flash Cookies and that they can catch you for having multiple accounts. What I'm wondering, given my setup (described below) would eBay know that I have multiple accounts?

I use firefox for all of the accounts, but all of them have a different browser user profile. I'm logged into the same windows user for all of them, but its a different firefox profile for all of them.

The IP that I use for each account is a dedicated VPN.

Basically, everything about the accounts is different, so I thought that there would be no way to link them together. But I'm wondering if Adobe Flash's cookies (Local shared objects) would allow them to link them together.

Any help would be appreciated.

1. Use a separate windows user name for each account; different firefox profiles isn't enough
2. Use a unique IP for each account that is static.

Flash cookies would link, but nowadays, eBay also uses browser fingerprinting and other tracking technology. I hate to break it to you, but if you've logged into the same windows user account, you've most likely linked the accounts together.

Tools like CCleaner and other desktop cleaning tools no longer remove all files downloaded by eBay and PayPal - the accounts would still link. Moreover. you WANT to keep the files on the computer because that's how eBay and PayPal recognizes that you're not an imposter and force identification.

Very interesting. So is this because of the flash cookies, or if i were to use separate browsers for the accounts (like opera, firefox, mozilla, netscape, etc.) would it still be able to identify them as being the same person?

Couldn't I just disable flash?

Also, if I use separate windows user accounts, that will 100% keep me safe?
